Haveringland – the place and its people

There are many sources of facts and figures about our village and its people. Perhaps the most well known source is the national census, which surveys the population of our country every ten years. Other sources include various maps and directories, such as Kelly’s and White’s .

Here are a few facts and figures about Haveringland.

The table below shows the number of inhabited houses, number of families and population in Haveringland from 1801 until 1911. The data comes from the census for each of the years. Due to the way the figures were recorded, a “family” is a family unit and may be one person or more.
